Wave Week Moldova Alumni meeting

Today, participants presented the successful and wonderful job they did after the camp, the experiences gained during the implementation of their take home service projects. Wave Week alumni helped children from kindergartens, orphanages and social-vulnerable families.. These experiences will be passed on to the next Wave Week delegates and continued with new projects at national and local level.

During the event, the WWM 2012 program was presented and discussed; the participants were encouraged to promote and disseminate the information about the program among their friends, colleagues, organizations at local and national level.

At the opening we were honored to listen to Mr. Richard Chema, the US Embassy Resident Legal Adviser, who talked about the history and evolution of volunteerism in the United States. Mr Chema’s presentation, once again, inspired the young people to actively get involved in volunteering activities to develop their communities, as well as gain experience, contacts, and knowledge.

Everybody had a good time remembering the great experience from last summer and were given the possibility to get involved in other activities organized by the Creative Development Association (CDA).
